A sweet short crust pastry is filled with an almond cake mixture, the seasonal pear is added before baking. It is decorated with a delicate apricot glazed and toasted almonds. Most enjoyable served warm with cream or custard. Large will feed 8 – 10 people, medium 6 – 8 people and the individual slice for one.
